Today the temperature at 6:45 a.m. was seventy-seven. My plan to walk earlier is off to a good start but the climate obviously has the same plan. No matter, the park was lovely and there were many others out early. It occurs to me that many walker-joggers may be functioning on internal clocks rather than eastern standard daylight saving time. It is inspiring to watch the sky shift from dark to light.Yesterday a friend and I re-connected after a period of quick hellos and overloaded schedules. She is considering her options and designing her future. Our conversation reminded me how easy it is to continue a routine thoughtlessly. Change is constant and all around us. Regularly re-addressing the what, why, where, and how of life is critical. Answering these four questions honestly is sometimes difficult, but important if we want to direct our future.
The people at the lake have made a commitment to their health. Twenty-one individuals made eye-to-eye contact and greeted me with an underlying understanding. We are taking action to insure vitality and quality lifestyles as we go forward. Surely, every aspect of life deserves the same attention and effort.
Another fabulous day in beautiful Florida I can spend happily creating a wonderful life.
