Expansion Feels Great

I headed for the park early today because walking two laps takes more time. Arrived while still dark but there was no lack of people traversing the boardwalk. I started out counter-clockwise for a lap and then turned clockwise for the second lap. The full moon in the sky the entire time was an unexpected gift. My first lap was brisk; allowed myself to take a few photos and walk leisurely on the second.

Temperature is back down to sixty-six degrees. Walking the park is a great way to start the day. I seem to have more energy as a result. Admittedly, when heading home, I do want to rest as metabolism returns to normal.

This is the start of my walking expansion. The new goal is two laps, which is two miles of cardio activity that a month ago did not exist. Talking with friends last night, we agreed the changes we dislike in our physical experience are self-generated. Caused first by inattention and then aggravated by new focus on the unwanted aspects.

So, what do I like? What is going well? What do I want more of? I love my walk. I love the changes I am experiencing. I love the park and the mornings. I love me for giving this gift to myself. I am in love.
