A friend and I went to the films last night and saw a musical in a picturesque setting with popular stars and an interesting wardrobe. It was about aging hippies in a Mediterranean setting and the offspring who is looking for the unknown parent. Relatable, and fun with songs linked into various stages of the plot development. The happy ending is no surprise, but the most amazing part, the real clincher, were the vocals. Definitely not the rock star singing or shouting of the sixties and seventies. It was a great flick to unwind from the week and shift gears into the weekend.
