The temperature is back up to 73 and the humidity, as usual, is high. At the lake, the dew looked like a hose had sprayed the enameled metal benches. I arrived at 6:49 today and everything was very quiet, yet a breeze rippled the water's surface. There were several walkers and joggers already busily circling the lake.Last night we had a fun meeting with three guests and some great presentations. It is empowering to be part of a committed group that learns, and grows together and supports one another. One of the long-standing members left an item behind. Trying to reach him, his wife said leaving it with the general equipment was unsafe. I decided to deliver it to him; he just lives a few miles from our meeting place. Being helpful certainly feels good.
Today, while walking, there were more walkers. Earlier may be the preferred time. Twenty-nine happy greetings were a pleasure to share as we all put effort into being our best selves.
