Bright and Brisk New Day

The cooler weather encouraged me to stay under my warm covers longer than imagined. Made it to the park at 7:15, the latest arrival since my walking began. The park is great. Once there, the atmosphere infects me with gladness. It is fabulous to be walking, greeting others, watching the daylight increase and interacting with the new day. The water level is down to near "normal." During the rains of August, it was five to six feet higher, amazing.

Several people were fishing today at the east end of the lake. Perhaps the pond is shallower on that end. It's the one place that has a lots of water vegetation. Perhaps the fish like having the plants for shade or maybe they like having them for lunch. Walked the bigger loop looking for my fish friend "Big Al," but he was no where to be seen.

My camera was working better today. It only responds to my commands, which may be the crux of the issue. It took many new and interesting shots and when processed, they will become part of this blog. Walking the lake is having many positive effects in my life. The future is looking bright.
