This morning was mild and the park was still not too crowded. It is amazing how much detail and design went into this project. The plants, the walkways, and the visual vistas are all very appealing and interesting. there are various access points and ample parking close by to make taking advantage of the park possible for all.Yesterday while walking and gazing down into the waters a large fish was visible. He was a muted gray color, about two and a half feet long, and scales were visible on the body, so he probably wasn't a catfish. Today, he was on the same side of the lake and feeding in the shallows again so he was clearly visible. He doesn't have catfish whiskers on his face. Fish species are not my area of expertise, however he seems slimmer than the large carp that live at the Japanese restaurant.
Many people walk the lake. Some in couples and some solo. Most are cordial and smile, nod, and many offer a greeting or respond to one. Its a very pleasant environment at the lake in the park. This is turning out to be an easy habit to develop.
