Monday again, and the week begins with 73 degree weather under clouds that are pulled along a nice front that is holding a summer environment today. It is fabulous that the place I have chosen to live in has summer year round.Back from my lake walk to enter my observations as my respiration rate returns to normal. Made it out five minutes earlier today and the number of walkers is much less, but no less friendly. The surface of the lake can appear as a mirror this time of day. The ducks are still gathered; some quietly perched on one leg with their beak nestled under their shoulder. Some are drifting close to shore and a few are traveling in search of this day's wonders.
Walked out to the street on the south and east sides of the park today. It is interesting to notice what caught my attention. On the east side, the walk is between the pavement and the protective railing. It is a grass area but other walkers have trodden down the blades and made a kind of path. My new route added distance to the loop and my time invested was near twenty minutes.
Another day, another repeated action in my formation of new behaviors. Thirty days is the benchmark that indicates success in changing patterns. I am the person I imagine myself to be.
